Night At The Museum 2: Curate Harder

Okay so Night at the Museum was a pretty cute movie. It was worth a video rental at least. It looks like the sequel will be offering more of the same. I’m not a huge Ben Stiller fan, but I enjoy “his” movies. Really more often than not it’s got to do with his co-stars. [...]

Movie Time

I saw Hellboy: The Golden Army a few weeks ago and The Dark Knight on Friday. These are good days to be a geek. I don’t know that I’ve got it in me to write full reviews of either, but they were both chock full of awesome.

Booyah indeed…

I am SOOO ready for this movie. The fact that GDT is doing The Hobbit (unconfirmed rumor)and that Ron Perlman will no doubt play some part in that, hopefully voicing Smaug at the very least(/unconfirmed rumor) cranks my geek up to twelve. Ganked from Hollywood Born: Booyah! Oh and then there’s this piece of loveliness:

The Incredible Hulk

I saw the Hulk movie last night and it was most excellent. It doesn’t have the buzz behind Iron Man or The Dark Knight as the “best superhero movie” ever. That might have something to do with the fact the the Hulk isn’t a hero, but it’s not even the best comic movie ever. It [...]

Get Smart Trailer

Go to io9 for the new Get Smart trailer. It doesn’t appear to be on YT yet, so I can’t embed it, but it’s worth checking out. It looks as funny as it needs to be to put my butt in the seat. I was a HUGE fan of the TV series and Steve-o is [...]

Empty Iron Shell?

So I saw Iron Man on opening day of all things. Someone remarked earlier on the fact that I hadn’t posted on it at all. Another remark he made got me to thinking why I might not have. He said something to the effect that it had no emotional hook. You know what, I think [...]

Holy Bat One-Sheet

This is very interesting. I’m trying to keep from geeking out about seeing this, Iron Man, Indy IV, The Incredible Hulk, and a new Star Trek flick all in ONE YEAR!!!!! Pants so far are intact. ht to HollywoodBorn Official URL

John Carter of Mars!!!

A Pixar John Carter?!?! Be still my heart! Mark Andrews has allegedly already completed a first pass on a screenplay for the first film in the proposed “Mars” series and both Pixar and Disney execs have reportedly responded very enthusiastically to Andrews’ script. Read the series in college and loved it. Pixar doing pulp is [...]

I Am Legend

Well I finally saw I Am Legend (2007) this weekend. I never read the book that this is based on. I did see The Last Man on Earth and it remains a favorite Price movie before he descended into camp (which I also love). I looked at how this ended vs. how Wikipedia says that [...]

Snake-Eyes

It may be bogus, it may not, but here you go. ht to Crunchgear
