It seems to me that our church is becoming "anemic" in part because the folks giving the homilies water down some elements of the message too far. There is such a thing as sin, there is such a thing as hell, there is such a thing as a need to take personal responsibility. I don't want to hear all "fire and brimstone", but Jesus is lots more than a nice guy. Excellent post.
