Well the last couple of weeks around the site have incited some great conversation and no fistfights so I call that a win. This week I think I’ll just play it cool content-wise. I promise no posts that will be too difficult to digest.

I had a small part in the latest episode of Making the Cut, the award winning podcast novel by Chris Lester. Working with Chris has been a great experience.

I have a new picture up at Insect Picture of the day. This is the second one in two weeks. Go check out the first one while you’re at it.

“Power in the Blood” will be featured in the Intercast over at Edward G. Talbot’s joint. What is the Intercast? It’s the series of short story podcasts he’s dropping in his feed in between New World Orders and his next project. Ed has been voicing Big John Delucci in Archangel:Legion and doing a fine job.

Speaking of podcast novels other than mine, I’ve been listening to and digging the following:
The Leviathan Chronicles – a full on sci-fi audiodrama featuring immortals, deep sea submersibles, and loads of action
Antithesis: Book 1 – J. Daniel Sawyer, who guest posted for me, has written a very good character driven sci-fi story which will apparently span five books when he’s done.
These of course are in addition to Murder at Avedon Hill, anything and everything Sigler is doing, Making the Cut, and Escape Pod. My iPod runneth over.

Finally while I was laid up last week with an injured hip I finished Contagious by Scott Sigler. I’ll post a review of that here in the coming week. All I’ll say for now is if you like King (when he was still hitting them out of the park) then you’ll love this.
