1) What was the highlight of your week?
We’ll make it this week past. I’d have to say watching my kids climb rocks, discovering new ones to climb and announcing it with a hearty “Look, more rocks!” while we were at Pilot Mountain.
2) Whose car were you in last?
Mine.
3) When was the last time you kissed someone?
This morning, kissing each of my children in turn and finishing with the wife.
4) What color shirt are you wearing?
Black with orange and red flowers and paisley.

I’d say about 3/4s of an inch.
6) Last movie you saw?
Hot Fuzz!
7) Last thing you ate?
A chocolate “Cutie Pie”.
8) What was last thing you drank?
Coffee.
9) Are you happy right now?
Sure.
10) What did you say last?
“Bye.”
11) Where is your phone?
Cell? On my M&M truck. Landline? Four feet away.
12) What was the last museum you went to?
Ooooh. Don’t remember. I’m gonna say the local kid’s museum and it’s been at least a year.
13) Who came over last?
To my house I guess that would be our landlord’s electrician to install a security light. Until then we were insecure.
14) Who/what do you hate/dislike currently?
Hate’s a mighty strong word. I’m gonna say Brussels Sprouts.
15) What are you listening to?
People in the hall. Sometimes I forget to queue up the next thing on my iPod after I sync it. There, NPR Shuffle.
16) If you could have one thing right now what would it be?
I could go all “Things don’t make you happy.” but I’d like a decent newer commuter vehicle with AC.
17) What are your favorite stores?
Those brick and mortar things? I’ll go with the local used bookstore, Ed McKay’s, and the local coffee shop, Krankies.
18) What makes you the happiest right now?
My kids, my wife, and learning to juggle three clubs.
19) What were you doing at midnight last night?
Trying to get to sleep.
20) Are you left-handed?
My left hand is stupid. It causes most of my typos.
21) What’s for dinner tonight?
I rarely know the answer to that question, but my wife’s cooking so it must be good.
22) When Is Your Birthday?
July 14th.
23) Who was the last person to send you a text message?
Ben.
24) When is the last time you were in a swimming pool?
Last summer. I haven’t been to the pool this summer. That’s amazing.
25) Where was the last place you went shopping?
The grocery store, Harris Teeter specifically.
26) How do you feel about your hair right now?
It’s there, so good.
27) Do you have any expensive jewelry?
My wedding band wasn’t cheap so I guess yeah. Expensive is subjective though.
28) AIM or MSN?
Yahoo?
29) What was the first thing you thought when you woke up this morning?
Coffee. While that may not be accurate it’s the closest thing to coherent thought I usually ever have.
30) Do you drink beer?
Oh yes.
31) Who do you miss?
I’ll echo MCF and say my college buds. I see some of them but only rarely. I miss them all though, even the pains in the neck.
32) MySpace or Facebook?
Feh. Kids and their fancy, shmancy social networks. In my day we had to stumble over people with similar interests. Then we’d have to apologize.
33) What was your favorite subject in school?
Study hall.
34) Do you have any talents?
I say writing. To do anything this badly for this long must take talent. Or possibly a masochistic streak.
35) Do you have any children?
Yup.
36) Did you take a nap today?
Nope.
37) Ever met someone famous?
Andy Griffith. He’s from where I went to High School and visited my music appreciation class.
38) Do you want to be famous one day?
Infamous.
39) Could you handle being in the military?
Now, maybe. Not so much when I was a kid. I hated authority.
40) Ever been to Las Vegas?
Nope and don’t want to.

42) Have you been to New York City?
Yes and I’d like to go back. When I went it was with a high school group and it was very much a tour.
43) Ever been to Disneyland/world?
Yup and much like NY I’d like to experience it more freestyle.
44) Last thing you cooked?
I’ll go with customizing a pizza (adding veggies to a meat pizza from Wally World’s deli. I love to cook from scratch, but it doesn’t happen very often.
45) Stupidest thing you ever did with your cell phone?
I don’t recall ever doing anything stupid with it.
46) Last time you were sick?
Stomach virus towards the end of the last school year.

    Going 7 for 7 in Settlers of Catan!

    A city bus. If buses don’t count then me and my wife’s car.

    Some time last night. I kiss my wife all the time, so it’s tough for me to recall.

    Yellow with thin blue checks.

    From shaved to a few inches, depending on what part of the body we are considering…

    Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, I think. I very rarely watch movies

    I thought it was in my bag until I went to grab it 10 minutes ago. Now, I have no idea.

    Discovery Place, the local science museum. Though that’s not a fair answer since my wife works there. DP excluded, It was a museum in St. Louis. I can’t think of it’s name.

    Our friend Shannon, to drink, visit, and play Settlers of Catan with us.

    I’m simple, I’ll take cash; enough to retire 25 years early.

    Manifest Disc (CD store), Barnes & Nobel, and Best Buy (sad, but true).

    Yes.

    Most of my friends and family. I live away from where I grew up.

    Neither. I prefer quality over quantity when it comes to friends.

    I’m good at arguing; just ask my mother! I play the drums.

    Buzz Aldrin, Ira Glass, and some boy-band. I didn’t know which.

    Hell no! The world is full of necessary evils, the military being the most necessary and the most evil, in my opinion.

    Yes and I didn’t want to. Now I do.

    Today!
    42) Have you been to New York City?
    Yes, last Autumn. It happened to be in the middle of the Italian fest. It was great. I remember a lot of beer.

    Yes, for Thanksgiving.

    A crab-dip.

    Lose it (today)!

    A cold some time in the Spring.

    “That’s a game [Settlers of Catan] I need to play. One of my friends has it and keeps threatening to teach me.”
    I can bring it Friday. Be warned, though. Once you play, you’re hooked. I played it three times before I ordered the game for myself along with one of the expansion packs.
