Now THAT’S a power glove…

Robert Downey Jr. Wields His First Gauntlet – The more I see of this Iron Man flick the more I’m digging on it. This shot of RD Jr. as Tony testing the repulsor in his glove is perfect. Me, I like the FF movies (mostly). The Batman and Spider Man flicks were aces. I can [...]

Rules For Good Writing

George Orwell laid out the following rules concerning how to better use the English language for expressing thought (ht to pickthebrain): 1. Never use a metaphor, simile, or other figure of speech which you are used to seeing in print. 2. Never use a long word where a short one will do. 3. If it [...]

Soundwave MP3 Player

According to Dosboy’s Bits and Bytes a Soundwave MP3 Player is now available for pre-order at Kooltoyz.com. I predict that if this isn’t crap it may indeed surpass the iPhone in popularity. If I’m wrong then you can feel free to laugh at me. In fact, I suggest you start laughing now. Perhaps the coolest [...]

My Office…

What’s yours look like?

Birthday Aftermath

So I know you’re all waiting with bated breath to hear how my birthday weekend was. Well it was a bit of a mixed bag, but good overall.

Happy Birthday to Me…

So yeah I turn thirty-six tomorrow. Wheeee… Things to do by forty: 1. Publish a novel. 2. Get paid for writing something on a regular basis. 3. Get a tatoo. 4. Have a regular fiction podcast. If you feel so inclined leave me birthday wishes below. Also a new chapter on Ryan’s Florist is up.

This is Cinnamon. Someone dumped her on the side of the road (PEOPLE SUCK). We are “fostering” her. What this no doubt means is provided there is no microchip we’ll have a new dog. Current animalia count: Chickens – 5 Cats – 1 Dogs – 4 (including my mother in law’s who we’re keeping for [...]

Exactly What Meets the Eye

I met a buddy of mine to see this, this weekend. He is Mr. Comics guy, a regular geek like you and I, but he had never seen the cartoon, read the comics, or played with the toys. I think it’s an age thing. He was probably just out of the right age range when [...]

The Ride

Aaron’s Blogtalk Radio shows (now collectively known merely as The Ride) are experiencing a bit of a changeup. The Religious Ride will remain as is, Sunday nights at 10 est, and we (including Bear) had a rollicking good time last night discussing Islam and the decline of the American church. The Political Ride moves to [...]
