Welcome to the 2008 Christmas edition of getting to know your friends. Okay, here’s what you’re supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! 1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Gift bags when I can get away with it.
2. Real tree or Artificial? Real when we can. I love them, fire hazards and all.
3. When do you put up the tree? Usually the day after Thanksgiving, but not this year as we’re moving.
4. When do you take the tree down? As late as possible, usually New Year’s day.
5. Do you like eggnog? Oh yes. I’ve even made some homemade.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? The Intellivision. That thing rocked the pants off of the Atari 2600.
7. Hardest person to buy for? Me.
8. Easiest person to buy for? My wife.
9. Do you have a nativity scene? A small table top set.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? We try every year and fail.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Underwear and or socks.
12. Favorite Christmas movie? Die Hard.
13. When do you start shopping? My wife handles most of that.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? re-gifting? Yes.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Pumpkin pie.
16. Lights on the tree? Yes
17. Favorite Christmas song? Blue Christmas.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Home, thankfully.
19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer’s? I always get hung up on whether it’s Donder or Donner.
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angel.
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Morning, by order of age youngest to oldest.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? The shopping.
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? We don’t do a theme but I’m all about retro.
24. Favorite Christmas memory? Last year my uncle came and stayed with us. I hadn’t seen him in years and it was awesome.
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? Whirled peas.
26. Who is most likely to respond to this? Who knows?
