Podcast Novelists' Successes - digg this
It's encouraging to see podcast authors that I've been listening to for months/years experiencing so much success.
Playing For Keeps by Mur Lafferty was picked up by Swarm Press. Jack Palms by Seth Harwood will be put out by Crown next year. And of course Scott Sigler's novel Infected was put out by Crown this year and is doing very well for a first novel.
I own Infected and will no doubt buy PFK and JP:1. The stories rocked in audio form and I like doing my part to encourage authors using non-traditional means to get the stories that we want to hear out there. Oh just like me! In fact all of these folks are the ones who've inspired my efforts. So if you don't like Archangel, blame Scott/Mur/Seth. :-D
I'll be putting up some reviews and pimping other podcasts over the next few weeks. If you have an MP3 player and enjoy audio books (I know, not everyone does) you could do worse than give these guys a listen.
