What Book Am I? - digg this
I am Siddhartha.

You're Siddhartha!
by Hermann Hesse
You simply don't know what to believe, but you're willing to try
anything once. Western values, Eastern values, hedonism and minimalism, you've spent
some time in every camp. But you still don't have any idea what camp you belong in.
This makes you an individualist of the highest order, but also really lonely. It's
time to chill out under a tree. And realize that at least you believe in
ferries.

So have you tried every belief system?
Well, while I haven't been a member of every major world religion I have studied them all to varying degrees. So I suppose not, depending on how you define "tried". I have been actively agnostic (though never an atheist). I think most major religions have some reflection of the truth behind everything in them. I am willing to try/examine almost any belief system and evaluate it. The word almost is stuck in there because I do have a moral compass that prevents me from trying anything that I deem immoral/dangerous. I really resonate with the statement "You simply don't know what to believe", not so much in the religious realm but in other things.
So you feel that this is a good match for you then? You certainly are an individualist, but that's the only bit that I thought fit.
I am often lonely and I do believe in faeries. I'd say it's as accurate as any of these things ever are and considering it hit this after six questions it's all good.
No, no. They said that you believe in "ferries", those boats that ship people back and forth across a small body of water, not faeries! ;)
Oh I don't believe in ferries. I mean I've never actually seen one, so how could I? Oh I mean I could take someone's word for it I suppose, but people aren't generally reliable witnesses.
