I want to hear more! That's good. The sound quality is quite good. There wasn't even a trace of breathiness. Did you fix that in editing?

I have a couple of suggestions. First, put a larger pause between chapters. 'Chapter 2' came far too soon after the last sentence of chapter 1. Also, volume levels need to be matched from part to part. The intro and advertisement at the end were much louder than your story.

I did do a little tweaking in Audacity. I'l keep your suggestions in mind for Ep. 2 and following.

Thanks!!

You did a very good job with this.

Thanks Rock.

The only complaint I have is in the tone with which you read it. Such as, the fact about it being a nice day for shooting someone from five stories up, is delievered in the way you might say he had eggs for breakfast.

What it sounds like you are doing is reading your story. Well, duh, right? But you don't WANT it to sound like you're reading. You want it to sound like you're TELLING.

Podcast Novels are like the fireside storytelling of old. You must feel your story in your words for us to feel it, too. The fact that this businessman is what he is should be conveyed with portent. As it is, your tone is even throughout. More dynamic range would spice it up.

Thanks Jim! I understand completely what you're saying. I'll work on that.
