Brownie - digg this

brownie%20med.jpg

This is Brownie. He was rescued from a six foot hole in the ground by our local fire department. My wife happened to be working at the vet's office this morning when the rescuers brought him in. As a result we have a new (temporary?) dog. He's about six pounds and is fully grown. The vet guesses that he's about two years old and is a dachshund/boxer mix. In other news, we're suckers.

What an awesome looking dog! Looks a little like a chihuahua.

They found the little bugger? Geez, I'll have to go deeper than six feet from now on.

I swear if I worked with animals I'd take more home than anything else.

WC Fields said that suckers are born every minute but suckers like you come along once in a great while. Thanks for caring enough to act!

He is cute. You should keep him.

Well for sure we'll be keeping him for "a while". Whatever that means.
