Thanksgiving - digg this
So this Thanksgiving was pretty awesome. There was of course the food:
And so much more.
If you enjoyed this entry subscribe to this blog by email or feed readerWe spent it at my wife's aunt's house. It was quite the drive up to the DC area. I wish I had gotten some pics of the gorgeous trees or the great house we stayed in. I did get some of a parade we went to in Reston, more on that in a minute.
I got to see the Apple TV gizmo. I played quite a bit of PS2. The kids enjoyed playing in the finished basement. Movies were watched, spirits were drunk, conversation was had. It was a marvelous time. I'm truly thankful for the hospitality that was shown to us.
I had plans to do so much this month. I wanted to blog more. I wanted to write my second novel. Instead I worked a lot. I got to join my company as a regular employee. I traveled to California. I'll travel to Canada in a couple of days. They're trade offs I can live with. I'm thankful for the trade offs.
Now on to the pics.
The Christmas tree.
The awesome technicolor jalopies.
Dancing Bolivians (gotta get me some of those boots).
Ginormous bald eagles.
It was REALLLLLLY cold so we missed Santa Claus and one or two other things. Still a good parade though.
How was your Thanksgiving?

I had a fair T-day (or does that takes the 'Thanks' out of the holiday ;)
It was my first away from family. Luckily, one of our friend's family adopted us for the day. They fed us and made us feel at home. I definitely give thanks for that.
Saturday, B4B and I got to be a part of that friend's wedding. It was a busy, but good weekend. I still missed my family, though.
