Yup, still here - digg this
First go here for a REALLY cool jumping spider pic.
Second, I had an awesome time in Oklahoma with Pat. We ate waaaay too much food and drank just enough beer. We watched Grindhouse (loved Deathproof, Planet Terror made me queasy), Battle Royale (w00t!), Ghost Rider (meh/cheesy), Black Snake Moan (no words, this movie was way more than I thought it would be, oh look words!), and Ronin (W00T! squared) most of those in one day. I got my behind handed to me in Forza and Halo 3 on his 360, but it was so worth in on his ginormous screen.
Third, work is still very worklike and I shall be travelling more this month than I ever have before, so while I still want to do NaNoWriMo, it will be difficult. Work and family take precedence and after that I won't have much time left, but we'll see. Also I hope to actually blog on my bloggy-blog more than once a week and on matters of substance.
Pray for my patience and perseverance in this time of change.

Welcome back, Scott. I'm glad you enjoyed Oklahoma. I always thought it was OK. (Sorry, couldn't resist)
Let me know if you end up in Charlotte for work again. You still have an open invitation to play Settlers.
Ooooooo. You're fired.
I'm heading down there Friday so maybe we can get some of those evil hamburgers, the joint I emailed you about. Maybe no Settlers this time, but soon and very soon.
Sounds good. I'll see at the Penguin.
Halo 3 isn't a matter of substance? I'm done with you.
Nice to have you back.
Pat, Add me to your friends list on XBL: "SoundedMean"
What I meant was that I would try to do both you meanie. As it is I've only managed one.
Oklahoma is ok but all the Oz is in Kansas.. stop by if you get close to KC.. our BBQ beats OK food :)
PS: Your blog is still not rmembering my info.
I'll stop by if I get the chance, but your Q has some stiff competition in NC.
Don't forget 300 and Ultraviolet.
Ben, added you. I'm Revolutionary77.
Time is indeed way too scant but I'm trying to get Rhodester over to NaNoWriMo for November too! |_|)
Do not put statements in the negative form.
And don't start sentences with a conjunction.
If you reread your work, you will find on rereading that a
great deal of repetition can be avoided by rereading and editing.
Never use a long word when a diminutive one will do.
Unqualified superlatives are the worst of all.
De-accession euphemisms.
If any word is improper at the end of a sentence, a linking verb is.
Avoid trendy locutions that sound flaky.
Last, but not least, avoid cliches like the plague.
