Settlers of Catan - digg this

catan.jpg

Can't talk, pretty busy. But I felt I must post this. If you haven't played this game and are into board games in any way, you must play it. I was kindly invited to Sid's house f'realz and his lovely wife cooked us an eqaully lovely dinner. Afterwards, while drinking coffee laced with Bailey's and topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings (evil, the woman is eeeee-vil) the three of us played this. Afterwards we talked and talked and talked s'more. Thanks guys!

We're glad you had a good time, Scott. Come over any time (Settlers isn't as fun with only two players)!

Maybe we can sneak in a quick game when I drop of the book tomorrow (he said trying to sound like neither a junkie nor a stalker).

"Maybe we can sneak in a quick game when I drop of the book tomorrow"

Sure, but only if we can finish the game before the OSU vs. Purdue game at 8:00 PM. You may also have to put up with another, albeit far less important, college football game on in the background.

Oh yeah, and being a Settlers junkie is not only alright, but expected. It is one of the most interesting board games I've ever played.

Cool. Well if we can great if not I'll gently weep on my drive back to W-S.

That game looks pretty darn awesome. Did you know they added credit cards to monopoly?

Games just aren't the same these days. :)

That game looks insanely complex and wholly addictive.

Love the new look of the site, btw!

It's actually much simpler than it looks. The coolest part about it is that the board is modular so the map looks different every time you play.

It is addictive and it's one of those games that's easy to learn and a challenge to master. Of course that describes any good game.

And MCF, thanks. Pat is my webmaestro and he does good CSS/banner work.

Aren't you going to brag about your first Settlers victory? You should. You earned it.
