Heroes' Season Finale - digg this

It was good. I say that with a little reservation because there were a few problems I had with it. And regardless of what I said in the spoiler thread I'll save my complaints for the jump.

Okay, so here they are.

Sylar should have stayed dead. I complain about the movies that kill off the bad guys, but really it makes sense for Sylar to die.

Peter should have squared his shoulders and flown into space himself. He can absorb powers, it's been shown that he can fly, why did his brother have to step in? I mean I realize that they wanted to redeem the character. They could have done that any number of other ways, not the least of which would have involved him throwing Mommy from the train. Both men should stay dead, though I hear that they won't.

Peter should have kicked Sylar around a bit more with his powers.

What did they do well?

The ending was a great peek into Vol. 2.

I like the resolution with Niki and her little family.

Saving Ando and everything else involving Hiro.

What should they do for Vol. 2?

Parkman should be alive, but thoroughly retired.

The same for most of the rest of the cast, little cameos at the beginning of the first few eps.

Bring back Mama P, but she should have no super powers.

If you MUST tie volumes one and two together I'd like to see what the parents of the various Heroes did in the Generation previous. Apparently most of the powered people had a powered parent. I'm envisioning Golden Age Heroes.

Have a great big baddy and reveal as little as possible about him. He was hinted at on last night's ep. Sylar was overused during the last half of this season.

Use Hiro sparingly, but keep him throughout the season.

Will they do these things?

Who knows? But I'll be there.

For some reason, after like 4 or 5 episodes, I totally lost interest in this....completely.

Maybe I thought it was a little too sensationalized, or over-hyped, I'm not sure really.

I'm not sure that I would have enjoyed it as much as I did if I had come in late. But I throughly emjoy it. You should give it another shot.

Like Pat, I ditched it after the allure of the Cheerleaders ass faded (3 or 4 eps).

Though, I think I might pick up the DVDs in August.

You should. But will you watch it?

Oh hell no.

Heh. Par for the course.

I liked the finale but wondered about this too...

..."why did his brother have to step in?"

So what gift/power does Momma Petrelli have anyway?

I don't think Peter can use multiple powers at once yet.

Rey - yeah I'm hoping that they unpack that.

Bob - Her power, if she has one, has to be subtle.
