I love me some guns and two new sorts have been brought to my attention, one funny and one not.

Not so funny , but cool. Imagine a gun that can fire .308 or .50 caliber BB's at a rate of 120,000 per minute at about 8000 fps. Now imagine that gun has zero muzzle flash, recoil, or noise profile (other than those spheres of death breaking the sound barrier). Allow me to introduce the DREAD.
Leave it to mankind to find new and interesting ways to kill each other.
