Favorite Christmas Songs - YouTube Style - digg this
Here are ten of my favorites in no particular order. This was inspired by Janet at The Art of Getting By and her Tell It To Me Tuesday.
10. Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer - If only because our typically very traditional and straight laced choir director made us sing it in High School.
9. Little Drummer Boy (David Bowie/Bing Crosby) - A stranger duet you couldn't have asked for.
8. Welcome, Christmas - This is the Who song from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". Takes me back, waaaay back.
7. Happy Christmas (Lennon) - I love this song.
6. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas (Taylor) - My wish for all of you guys!
5. Charlie Brown Christmas - Nostalgia Central, right here!
4. Christmas Canon Rock (TSO) - Guitars + Pachalbel's Canon = GREATNESS!
3. Mary Did You Know - A bit more recent and I get gooseflesh almost every time I hear it.
2. Hallelujah Chorus - I've performed this more than once and it remains a huge favorite. Here's one of my favorite renditions. The other is a guitar solo by a Christian guitarist named Dennis Agajanian. Can't find it online but he's AMAZING!
1. Blue Christmas - No list of Christmas music would be complete without the King.
